My Land

Adirondacks

This poem written about the beauty of Gods creation here in the Adirondacks of New York.I wrote this after I realized that God the creator can be seen in His creation. The vast forest, many lakes, streams and rivers offer a great place to visit year round. All kinds of outdoor sports and activities can be enjoyed here.A great place for a family vacation. If you want to see nature this is the place to go.If you are searching for God look to His creation.

This Land

Have you been to the river

have you been to the stream

seen the mountain brook

so peaceful the scene

This place is my land, the place I love the most

the place I was born

the place I boast

As the glory of God I see in this place

and I thank Him and praise Him

for this part of His grace

Have you been to the mountain

have you been to the hill

seen the high peak

so beautiful and still

This is my home, the place I want to stay

The Adirondacks I hope and pray

that it will always be this way

This is a beautiful, heart-felt, flowing poem! Reads like that mountain brook it speaks of.
